- Synthetic peptide
- Description
- OPA1-03010 detects signal transducer and activator of transcription 5 a/b (STAT5) from human, mouse, and hamster tissues and cells. Rat tissues are expected to react based on sequence homology. This antibody is specific for STAT5 and does not cross-react with any other STATs or related proteins. OPA1-03010 has been successfully used in western blot procedures. By western blot, this antibody detects an ~92 and ~85 kDa protein representing STAT5a and STAT5b, respectively, from CTLL cell lysate. OPA1-03010 was raised against a synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of human STAT5. The sequence of the immunogen is identical in rat.
