- GMA-8015 is an A2 domain specific antibody useful for detection of Factor VIII by ELISA. It is a good capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA when paired with biotinylated domain specific antibodies. It binds murine Factor VIII but shows no cross reactivity to porcine Factor VIII. Its epitope overlaps with the GMA-8021 epitope. It pairs well with GMA-8018 for detection of murine Factor VIII in a sandwich ELISA. It is a strong inhibitor of Factor VIII activity in clotting assays. GMA-8015 is the designated cell line 4A4 as described by Summers, R et al. in reference 1.
