Protein G purified. In A549, a 50 kDa band is observed. The two synthetic peptide immunogens (LGWKQGDEEEKWAEK) and (SNVNRNSTIENTRRHI) used to make this antibody are 100% conserved between SMAD1/5/8/9. Therefore, the antibody recognizes SMADs 1, 5, 8, and 9. The antibody may cross-react with SMAD2 or SMAD3. The actual SMADs detected with this antibody may vary according to cell or tissue-type specific expression.
