- PA1-28393 detects SOCS2 from mouse, rat, human samples. PA1-28393 has been successfully used in immunoprecipitation, Western blot applications. The PA1-28393 immunogen is: Synthetic peptide (PTRLKDYLEEYKFQV) correspondingto amino acids 184-198 of human, rat and mouse SOCS 2. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

- Western blot analysis was performed on whole cell extracts (30 µg lysate) of HeLa (Lane 1), A549 (Lane 2), HT-29 (Lane 3), HCT 116 (Lane 4), MCF7 (Lane 5), A-431 (Lane 6), NIH/3T3 (Lane 7) and HT-1080 (Lane 8). The blot was probed with Anti-SOCS2 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA1-28393, 1 µg/ml) and detected by chemiluminescence using Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) Superclonal™ Secondary Antibody, HRP conjugate (Product # A27036, 0.25 µg/ml, 1:4000 dilution). A 22 kDa band corresponding to SOCS2 was observed across the cell lines tested.
