- Dystroglycan in Human Skeletal Muscle. Dystroglycan was detected in immersion fixed paraffin-embedded sections of human skeletal muscle using Sheep Anti-Human Dystroglycan Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody at 3 ug/ml overnight at 4°C. Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic. Tissue was stained using Anti-Sheep HRP-DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to basement membrane.
