Description

Ulocuplumab is a fully human monoclonal antibody targeting C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4), a G protein-coupled receptor involved in cell migration and homing. It binds to CXCR4 to block its interaction with the ligand CXCL12 (SDF-1), inhibiting tumor cell metastasis, angiogenesis, and bone marrow retention of malignant cells. It has been investigated for the treatment of hematologic cancers, such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and multiple myeloma.
