- A recombinant protein corresponding to the Pyrin domain (PYD)* of human NALP3 (amino acids 6-89). *PYD belongs to a class of protein motifs known as the death fold. As a class, death fold motifs primarily function in regulating inflammatory and apoptosis responses. The PYD of NALP3 is required for association with ACS during inflammasome formation. The PYD binding epitope recognized by IMG8NE9 has not been mapped.

- Western blot analysis using NALP3 monoclonal antibody. Human NALP3 transfected cell lysate (A), mouse NALP3 transfected cell lysate (B) and the recombinant human NALP3 Pyrin doman protein immunogen (C) probed with 5 ug/ml (tranfected) or 0.5 µg/ml (recombinant) of NALP3 antibody. HRP secondary antibody and ECL substrate solution were used for this test.
