- Detection of Human/Mouse/Rat PI 3-Kinase p85 alpha by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of A172 human glioblastoma cell line, K562 human chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line, BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line, and Rat-2 rat embryonic fibroblast cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat PI 3-Kinase p85 alpha Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB2998) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for PI 3-Kinase p85 alpha at approximately 85 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

- Detection of Human PI 3-Kinase p85 alpha by Simple WesternTM. Simple Western lane view shows lysates of A172 human glioblastoma cell line, loaded at 0.2 mg/mL. A specific band was detected for PI 3-Kinase p85 alpha at approximately 89 kDa (as indicated) using 10 µg/mL of Mouse Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat PI 3-Kinase p85 alpha Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB2998). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using the 12-230 kDa separation system. Non-specific interaction with the 230 kDa Simple Western standard may be seen with this antibody.
