- Description
- Description: The CRM17 antibody reacts with human interleukin-1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RA). IL-1RA is produced by macrophages, monocytes, neutrophils, synovial and dermal fibroblasts. The 17 kDa soluble form of IL-1RA (sIL-1RA) is produced by hepatocytes. IL-1RA inhibits the release of both forms of IL-1, the secretion of IL-2, and the expression of IL-2 receptors on the cell surface. IL-1RA also blocks the stimulation of prostaglandin E2 synthesis in synovial cells and the proliferation of thymocytes. Applications Reported:The CRM17 antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining with flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: Has been pre-titrated and tested. This can be used at test size: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test. Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 520 nm; Laser: Blue Laser. Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.

- Normal human peripheral blood cells were stimulated with LPS in the presence of Brefeldin A (Product # 00-4506-51) for 24 hours. The cells were surface stained with Anti-Human CD14 PE (Product # 12-0149-42) and intracellularly stained with Mouse IgG1 K Isotype Control FITC (Product # 11-4714-42) (left) or Anti-Human IL-1 Receptor Antagonist FITC (right).
