- Detection of Mouse alpha 2-Macroglobulin by Western Blot. Western blot shows samples of purified alpha 2-Macroglobulin from mouse sera. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.1 µg/mL Sheep Anti-Mouse alpha 2-Macroglobulin Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF5798) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band for alpha 2-Macroglobulin was detected at approximately 180 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 8.
